Restored mid-century walnut credenza/sideboard by John Kapel for Glenn of California - 80" long

Epic. If there's one word to describe this extra-long walnut credenza/sideboard/buffet designed by John Kapel for Glenn of California that would be it...epic. In all my years of restoring mid-century furniture, I rarely see Kapel pieces - so it's quite rare in addition to its "epicness."

OVERVIEW: Circa 1960s, this one is certain to be the aesthetic focal point of your space - it's absolutely gorgeous and one of the nicest I've ever restored. Its beautifully grained walnut doors with sensual sculptural handles each feature vertical ebony bakelite slat details nicely complimenting the black arched base. Loads of internal storage too as the four front doors swing open revealing two large sections - one with an adjustable shelf, the other also with an adjustable shelf and two pullout felt-lined drawers with dividers...the shelves could be both inserted on one side too or removed altogether I suppose, completely up to you.

OVERALL CONDITION: Recently restored and given a new protective finish to both protect this beauty for the next 30+ years and give it a lovely, period-correct satin sheen. As with all vintage furniture, there are small signs of wear/patina throughout, but this one is now in pristine condition...it presents beautifully overall.

DIMENSIONS: 80" wide x 20" deep x 30" high
INTERNAL STORAGE DIMENSIONS (INSIDE)" 39 wide x 18" deep x 24" high

SHIPPING: Shipping is NOT FREE NOR $0.01 so please contact me with your zip code for an exact quote prior to ordering. Etsy's shipping system isn't setup for larger/furniture shipments so please contact me prior to your purchase as shipping costs vary on your specific location. I sell and ship much mid-century modern furniture nationwide from my home showroom in Seattle so I'll coordinate all shipping logistics on my end if you'd like...I use shipping companies that specialize in furniture transportation and individually wrap/unwrap each piece for the utmost protection. Shipments usually go out 2-4 weeks of ordering but shipping times aren't always exact so some flexibility is required. Free local pickup in the Seattle area too, or you can arrange you're own shipping if you'd like.

QUESTIONS: Happy to answer any questions, send additional photos if needed. My hope is to provide as much detail/images so there are no surprises upon delivery. All sales are final.
