For sale is a vintage Danish teak dining/desk chair by J.L. Moller (model 62 to be specific) - also known as the Carvers chair. This Danish beauty would be a great addition if you're looking to complete a set, add a captain's chair to a set of Moller 78s or as a lone accent/office chair. Carver chairs are not only quite stylish but exceptionally rare too.
OVERVIEW: Moller chairs are widely known as the epitome of Danish design; yet within the Moller grouping of designs, this model stands out as something truly special. Notice how the lovely, curved backrests slightly taper from the seat to the sculpted horn atop each vertical back support. That same sculptural horn element appears on each front leg too for a consistent look.
CONDITION: The frame has just been cleaned/oiled/reconditioned so it now exudes that beautiful teak glow but I'll let the let the photos speak for themselves. Papercord seat is not new but certainly serviceable as-is.
.
CHAIR DIMENSIONS: 21.5ʺ wide x 18.5ʺ deep × 32ʺ high. Seat-from-floor height is 17.5"
