Newly-restored "boat-shaped" Danish teak expandable dining table - (extends 62" - 101.5" long)

For sale is a beautiful mid-century modern Danish expandable surfboard or boat-shaped teak dining table now in pristine condition after being recently restored so it now exudes that wonderful warm teak-toned glow and luster to showcase the beautiful old-growth teak. I've restored many teak dining tables over the years and this one is absolutely stunning...a great table for your family to gather around for the next 30+ years.

Inspect the pictures to notice the beautiful teak tabletop that is very strong, sturdy and HEAVY TOO (that's a good thing)...they certainly don't make furniture of this quality anymore. Also notice the 2" thick bull-nose table edging with rosewood biscuit-joint accents and trestle double-leg base for nicely balanced symmetry throughout...Danish styling at its finest.

DIMENSIONS: Nicely sized for medium-to-large sized dining spaces at 62" x 41" with two 19.75" concealed leaves neatly stored under the tabletop so it quickly expands to 81.75" (with one leaf extended) or a whopping 101.5" when both leaves are expanded - so it can be small enough for four people then quickly expanded for dinner parties of 8-10 even. See the unique/clever expansion track w/hidden leaves storage section, very cool and makes it quite easy to expand/open it up. Normal 29" dining table height. Table is unmarked but obviously made in Denmark, I suspect by Ansager Mobler...a well-known Danish maker of fine furniture.

CONDITION: I've restored numerous teak pieces over the years and this one is one of the highest quality craftsmanship, deep-and-dark old-growth teak coloring and overall condition. Its just been lovingly restored/reconditioned in so it now exudes a beautiful satin sheen with that lovely warm teak glow to showcase the beautiful old-growth teak wood-grain throughout. As with all vintage furniture, there are very minor signs of wear/patina throughout that I've addressed but still remain. It presents beautifully overall.

I sell and ship much mid-century modern furniture nationwide from my home showroom in Seattle so I'll coordinate all shipping logistics on my end if you'd like...I use shipping companies that specialize in furniture transportation and individually wrap/unwrap each piece for the utmost protection. Shipments usually go out 2-4 weeks of ordering but shipping times aren't always exact so some flexibility is required. Free local pickup in the Seattle area too, or you can arrange you're own shipping if you'd like.

SHIPPING/SETUP: This one will require the trestle leg base to be detached for transport but is quick/easy to reattach with four screws and a screwdriver.
