For sale is this iconic pair of lounge chairs from Kofod Larsen - better known as Penguin chairs. Circa 1960s and made in Denmark, these beauties are just waiting to slide into your living space for years of stylish relaxing and would be a welcomed addition to any room...so timeless and classic!
Featuring newly-restored black iron frames adorned with brass feet for a small element of whimsical fun, the sturdy frames elegantly support those stylish and curvaceous backrests with penguin-shaped wings (hence their name Penguin Chairs). The bentwood backrest contours the body, almost like it's giving a supportive "hug" to the respective lounger alongside organic lumbar support too!
CONDITION: The metal frames have just been restored/repainted with a durable black satin enamel paint, and walnut-toned bentwood backrests given a new protective lacquer coating so they're ready to last another generation. The newly-upholstered "moss green" polyblend seats look fabulous and exude an awesome retro/mid-century vibe ready to slide into your living space for decades of stylishness.
DIMENSIONS: 21" wide x 32.5" high x 23" deep (each dimension taken at the widest point). These chairs are sturdy and wide enough to accommodate bigger guests too (e.g. I'm 6'3" and these fit me great). Seat height from floor is 18"
